Thief: Rent's Due Thief: Rent's Due

Rated 4.5 / 5 stars

Sweet work!

This is pretty cool for a stick animation. It beats the usual "Beat teh crap outta each other stick flash"!

However, certain points lacked like the voice acting, it was rather cheesy and lacked the theatrical style you expect.

The music added a really nice ambient style to the flash though, great choices, and the SFX were really well chose as well.

I'd love to see this with fully drawn body figures instead of stick figures however. It'd display much more emotion with their body movements and facial emotions too.

Great work though.

Epic flash though, seemed a little dragged out at certain times when it was just him walking around in Pallet Town, would love to see some kind of sequel!

Great fun!

To those complaining about the Double Jump issue, you're just shit at this game. If you haven't noticed, on one of these levels, you HAVE to drop off the edge, then use that jump in order to get to a platform without being hit by spikes. Douchebags.

Great playability though, some levels seemed a little repeating however and the music should've changed more often rather than just looped, but seeing Meatboy again... Agh, SEQUEL MEATBOY NOW!

Wicked fun, certainly loved the physics, the tracking bullets, the graphics, it all really blends well! There's some great unique features here and the storyline, being somewhat basic, still compliments the game play.

Awesome work, I expect a sequel! =D

Christ.. where to begin.

Pretty much all of this game is taken from a tutorial on the internet. You've kept the same code (Don't say you didn't I've used this tutorial once before), you've taken the track and changed a couple of the colours and the same with the car. You've also got the same Counting/Lap tracking/Timing system as they give you in the tutorial =/

Learn to make your own game, to hell if your 14, I know amazing Actionscript coders/Flash animators who are 14..

Make your own games, then you'll get somewhere

Nice one (y)

Awesome work mate!

Fricken.. Trancin it out rofl =P I think at some points though, it seems to be missing some percussion to give it the edge so you could try adding that in more often.

Other than that, 5/5 - 10/10!

Hmm... This song is really quite surprising! I don't think I've ever heard a song yet where it's Borderline Metallica/Children of Bodom!

Excellent work dude, keep making songs =D

Goatchrist responds:

I don't quite see the Metallica/Bodom comparison but thanks for actually comparing ME with bands of that caliber ^^

Thanks for the nice review!

My Try at a Battle Theme My Try at a Battle Theme

Rated 3 / 5 stars

Not exactly amazing..

I'm not sure if others agree with me on this.. but it seems to lack the *OOMPH* for a battle theme. The guitar's repetition doesn't do it any justice as it personally becomes annoying to me over time and the drums are to quiet in the background.

Pro's: Good loop, Catchy Bass riff

Con's: Drum's need more power and volume, try compressing them. Guitar shouldn't be repeated continuously, attempt some more catchy guitar for a battle theme. The Black Mages should be someone you need to listen to if you're going to attempt a Battle Theme.

Just needs some more work dude.
